Adult Faith Formation The 4 Temperaments We all have different personality traits: Are you a Choleric? A Melancholic? A Phlegmatic? A Sanguine? What's your secondary temperament? How can knowing your temperament help you understand yourself better? How can knowing someone else's temperament help you understand her? How can knowing your temperament help you grow closer in relationship to God? Over three weeks in October 2022, presenters Christina Palazzoli and Michael Assaf of St. Rose of Lima Church introduced the 4 Temperaments, assisting us in determining our temperaments and guiding us in using this information to build a better relationship with ourselves, others and God! Our first church was located on Tappan Street, opposite Riverview Cemetery. The Church relocated to its present building in August of 1940, and our campus remains one of the most beautiful on Syracuse Street. Outreach Ministries Turkey Day Race Food Drive In 2018 St. Mary's and St. Augustine's partnered with the Baldwinsville Kiwanis Turkey Day Race to hold a huge food drive for the first time! After seeing the success of the food drive, we made it our mission to continue to help those in the Baldwinsville community with this food drive every year! St. Elizabeth Ann Seton joined the cause in 2019. This year, the need is even greater within our community, so together with our sponsor partners of St. Augustine's, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and the Baldwinsville Kiwanis, we are proud to announce the seventh annual Turkey Day Race Food Drive! The food collected during this drive is distributed to a variety of local charities including: The Baldwinsville Food Pantry The Backpack Program, for which a special emphasis is placed on food that is healthy and easily prepared for/by children who are in need. How You Can Help Fill a bag with groceries and return it to one of the food drop locations, during the dates/times listed below. The suggested child food list and family food list are also below. Sponsor individuals to run/walk the VIRTUAL race. Money raised by the Kiwanis goes towards improving the lives of children and families in Baldwinsville and CNY. Funeral Pre-Planning Form St. Mary's now offers the option to create a funeral pre-plan online! A funeral pre-plan is an excellent way to make advanced selections of the details for your own or your loved one's funeral service and to have a record of those selections kept on file at the St. Mary's Parish Office. To create a funeral pre-plan, complete a funeral pre-plan form below, and upon submitting the completed form, a copy will be emailed immediately to the person who completed the form, with a copy also emailed to St. Mary's Parish Office, where it will be kept on file.

Ministries Adult Faith Formation Adult Faith Formation Inspiring Adults to Have a Close Personal Relationship with God Adult Faith Formation at St. Mary's is dedicated to assisting adults in having a close personal relationship with God by offering programs that will increase knowledge of our Catholic faith and inspire spiritual growth. Youth Ministry Youth Ministry Growing in Faith Together Our goal for Youth Group is for our St. Mary's & St. Augustine's teens in grades 6 - 12 to learn and grow in their faith, as well as to have a lot of fun—playing games, eating great food, and enjoying our time together! Not only do the teens have a great time, in many cases, Youth Group meetings count towards the credit hours they need for Faith Formation, too.
